Bret has been in the masonry industry since 1976, having worked as a mason tender, a mason, an estimator, a project manager, and masonry contractor. He brings to RMMI an extensive background in large masonry projects, both commercial and luxury residential, and other masonry projects of all kinds, sizes, material types, and complexity. He is a new addition to RMMI and looks forward to assisting its members and the A/E design community develop a strong masonry market with proper construction details, workmanship, and methods.

As technical consultants to RMMI, ANA provides advice, quality control services, and educational programs on all structural issues involved in masonry design and construction.
The firm’s specialties include: evaluation and assessment of existing masonry structures; structural repair and rehabilitation; forensic studies; and research. Michael, David and the ANA staff are on-call to perform quality control inspections of masonry projects, provide answers to a wide array of technical questions, and review plans and drawings. In addition, ANA is preparing a number of RMMI technical publications, including a Masonry Sound Barrier Wall Design Guide.
